Are you becoming immune to slogans, bullet points and rhetoric because you’ve heard it again and again, believed it once or twice, but now understand IT MEANS NOTHING.

Do you see political soap opera as a tool to dumb down opposition and sabotage real constructive movement in your community, state and government?

Are you indignant about being referred to as a base?

Are you the target of voter shaming?

Do you wince when you hear terms like right and left, conservative and liberal and see good ideas sabotaged because they are attached to those names?.

Do you see partisan politics standing in the way of getting the most simple things done?

Sick of pandering, token visits and empty promises?

And the difference is ?

Red Red Red

Anybody who votes for BLUE is bad bad bad.

Be afraid, be very afraid!

Blue Blue Blue

Any body voting for RED is bad bad bad
Be afraid, be very afraid

Are your public officials are spending more time at ribbon cuttings giving tax breaks to  businesses with unrealistic promises?  Do they address and fight to resolve your   problems?

DITCH THE DUOPOLY!

Be a VOICE not an ECHO

“When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”   Mark Twain

Why be in a party?

You are either part of the problem or part of the solution.

We can all agree that we live in the most challenging of times. In our efforts to make a living and try to galvanize our community to solve our problems we are distracted, manipulated and encouraged by political parties, government and corporate owned media to fight amongst ourselves over smaller “wedge” issues.

Ultimately it all comes down to two parties. If you have the stamina to work within your party to push it in a better direction, good for you.

For many of us, this seems futile at this time. Amidst all this turmoil,a few reasonable solutions are offered, this is a very simple, effective choice all of us can make

Let’s keep in mind, the golden rule for control is to divide and conquer.

The "lesser of two evils"
Is NOT a choice!

“Sure my candidate is bad but the opponent is worse” This is the formula of nearly every election held in this country.  Candidates run on promises that address every issue but no problem is ever solved. No victorious candidate is taken to task on their empty promises by the voter. They specialize in double speak and hand the task of explanation to their aides who can never speak on behalf of the candidate. They design public press events to only allow softball questions and rally their “team” to boo and shout down any one who would dare ask a pointed question about the failure to deliver on any and all of their campaign promises. How about a candidate with some integrity and a plan with some guts to stick to them.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

NO! You can't vote in primaries. So what!

Parties are very concerned about their grip on the system and  have spent decades bullet-proofing their structure to make sure the initial decision for candidates is theirs based on donors and corporate ties. These cash cow streams cannot be interrupted at any cost. So be assured that any candidate that dares to enter a race has been thoroughly vetted to vote the way of the party regardless of the outcome to you. So to believe that a passionate dedicated individual with  the background and tools to work for you could survive a primary running against your established party guidelines is unlikely. Occasionally it happens, but relying on the faithful, vulnerable party members, persuaded by the fear mongering and alarmist techniques the established party usually gets their person in. So your primary vote is usually for the lesser of two evils.

Why become unenrolled? A choice and a voice for a change!

As an unenrolled or no party voter, a citizen may have the following advantages:

  1. Independence: Unenrolled voters are NOT affiliated with any political party and are free to vote for the candidate they believe is the best choice for the office without any party pressure or loyalty.

  2. More options: Unenrolled voters have the option to vote for any candidate, regardless of party affiliation, without feeling limited by the options presented by their party.

  3. Not bound by party rules: Unenrolled voters are not bound by the rules and regulations of any political party, allowing them to freely express their political views without restriction.

  4. Access to independent candidates: Unenrolled voters have access to independent candidates who do not represent any political party, providing a wider range of choices.

  5. Avoiding negative campaigning: Unenrolled voters are less likely to be targeted by negative campaigning from political parties since they are not affiliated with any party.

  6. Avoiding political polarization: Unenrolled voters are not bound to the extreme positions or ideologies of any political party, making it easier to stay moderate and avoid political polarization.

  7. Increased importance: In a closely contested election, unenrolled voters can become a swing vote, making them more important to the candidates and campaigns.

  8. Privacy: Unenrolled voters are not required to disclose their party affiliation to anyone, allowing them to keep their political views private if they choose to do so.

  9. Avoiding party guilt grab solicitations: Unenrolled voters are not solicited to donate or pay any fees or dues to a political party.

  10. Most importantly, remove your participation from the political polarization pitting neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend, and dividing families over issues that stay unresolved due to the  nature of political dynamics.

They don't notice you when you're there,
But they WILL miss you when you're gone.

How do I become Unenrolled?

Simple. This is your personal chance to make the point that although you were a registered party member you are making the decision to become independent because being counted on to vote party line HAS NOT served you and many others and that by becoming unenrolled it is your way to get candidates  to work to win your vote.

It’s okay to be a free thinker!

“I often warn people: “Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you, ‘There is no “I” in team.’ What you should tell them is, ‘Maybe not. But there is an “I” in independence, individuality and integrity.”

George Carlin

Your independence will release you from having to make excuses and have pointless conversations over the endless barrage of calculated manipulations.
If not now...when? Bail baby bail!
